Mohana (Rakshit) is a folk artist and gives performances at cultural events along with his brother, other family members at his place. Guru Murthy (Raghu Kunche) along with his brother dominates the lower caste people and keeps control of the place in their hands. Some unexpected incidents, situations lead Mohana to drop his peaceful folk singer's life and get into a violent life. What made Mohana change his life path and the after effects form the rest of the story.
Rakshit started his film career as a hero with a soft character and it’s a complete contrast what he did in Palasa movie. He has given his best to the character of Mohana which has multiple shades, emotions involved and Rakshit has pulled it off with ease. Especially the action sequences, hero elevation scenes have worked out perfectly and Rakshit looked apt for his part.
Raghu Kunche has played the antagonist character in Palasa movie and he did a commendable job to the role given to him. Nakshatra as the female lead was fine in her part, her chemistry with Rakshit was also good on screen. Lakshman as the friend of Rakshit did an effective job. Majority of the actors in Palasa film are fresh but they have good performances and few noticeable performances came from Prawin Yendamuri, Thiru Veer every time they appear on the screen.
